It’s 7 a.m. You walk into the kitchen half-awake, and your bare foot finds a charging cable, a dog toy, and a sticky spot from last night’s juice. All in three steps.

That’s the moment a lot of people start shopping for a robot that vacuums and mops. And if you’ve been shopping for a while, two names keep showing up in every “best value” list: the eufy X10 Pro Omni and the Roborock Qrevo S.

On paper, they look almost like twins. Both have a big dock that empties the bin, washes the mop pads, and dries them. Both lift their mops over rugs. Both cost far less than the flagship robots that do the same jobs.

So which one should you bring home? I’ve spent a lot of time going through independent lab tests, expert reviews, and owner feedback on both. Here’s what I found, and where each one really shines.

Key Takeaways

  • Pick the eufy X10 Pro Omni if your floors are messy with stuff. Its front camera dodges cables, socks, and pet messes much better than the Qrevo S.
  • Pick the Roborock Qrevo S if your floors are mostly clear. It’s the more polished cleaner, with better hard-floor pickup, stronger scrubbing on dried stains in lab tests, and a smoother app.
  • Both docks do the same big jobs: empty the bin, wash the mop pads, dry them, and refill the robot’s water.
  • The Qrevo S is slimmer (about 3.8 inches tall vs. about 4.5 inches), so it fits under more furniture.
  • Neither is brand new. Both came out in 2024, so check today’s price and compare with the newer versions before you buy.

Which one fits your home?

A Quick Word Before We Start

I want to be upfront with you. I do the digging through the testing, compare the numbers, and read what owners are saying months later, so you don’t have to spend your weekend doing it.

Every claim in this article comes from the brands’ own specs or from independent testers like Vacuum Wars, RTINGS, and TechRadar. Where they disagree, I’ll tell you.

    Fair? Let’s go.

What These Robots Are (and Who Each One Is For)

The eufy X10 Pro Omni in plain words

eufy X10 Pro Omni robot vacuum and self-cleaning station

Think of the X10 Pro Omni as the “careful driver.” It’s a robot vacuum and mop with a camera up front that looks for things on the floor before it hits them. Vacuum Wars reported that eufy says it’s trained to recognize more than 100 objects, and it has a light so it can still see under a dark couch.

It sits on an all-in-one station that empties the robot, washes and dries its mop pads, and refills its water. When it launched, reviewers called it a flagship-style machine at a much lower price. Vacuum Wars literally titled their review “Flagship Features at Half the Cost?”

    It’s a great fit for:

    • Homes with kids who leave toys everywhere
    • Pet owners worried about the robot running into an accident
    • Anyone with cables behind the TV or under a desk
    • People who like checking on their home through a camera

The Roborock Qrevo S in plain words

Roborock Qrevo S robot vacuum and mop with auto-emptying dock

The Qrevo S is the “neat and tidy worker.” It also vacuums, mops, and sits on a dock that empties, washes, dries, and refills. But instead of a camera, it uses 3D structured light to spot obstacles.

Where it wins is in how cleanly and methodically it works. Tech Advisor called it a high-performing, mid-priced robot with many advanced features.

    It’s a great fit for:

    • Homes with mostly hard floors
    • People who keep the floor fairly clear before a run
    • Anyone who wants a thin robot that slides under low furniture

Key Features and What They Mean in Real Life

Specs are nice, but you don’t live with specs. You live with clean (or not-so-clean) floors. So here’s what each big feature actually means for your day.

    1. Vacuuming Power: The Qrevo S Picks Up More on Hard Floors

Here’s the thing about suction numbers: a bigger number doesn’t always win.

The eufy is rated at 8,000 Pa, and the Roborock at 7,000 Pa. You’d expect the eufy to clean better, right? Not quite. RTINGS found that the Qrevo S does a better job picking up debris on hard floors.

Vacuum Wars had similar findings. They said the Qrevo S performed as well as or better than Roborock’s more expensive models on both hard floors and carpets, and its crevice pickup was well above average. The X10 Pro Omni, on the other hand, left a bit more fine debris on hard floors and scored below average in their crevice test.

But don’t count the eufy out. On carpet, it’s excellent. Vacuum Wars said its carpet deep-clean results (pulling sand out of carpet) were much higher than average.

    Real-life benefit:

    • Mostly tile, wood, or vinyl? The Qrevo S will likely leave fewer crumbs in the grout lines and along the edges.
    • Lots of rugs and carpet? The X10 Pro Omni is a strong pick for pulling out the gritty stuff you track in from outside.

    2. Mopping: The Testers Don’t Fully Agree

This is where things get interesting, so bear with me.

The eufy’s mop is built to press hard. Its two pads spin at 180 RPM, which is more than most robots. TechRadar loved it and said the result was a top-notch clean with no puddles or streaks. Vacuum Wars said it cleared dried coffee and grape juice stains completely in their early tests.

So the eufy mops better? Well, not so fast.

The Qrevo S’s pads spin faster, at up to 200 RPM, and in Vacuum Wars’ dried-on stain test it scored 116 out of 176, which they called above average.

My take: For everyday footprints and fresh spills, both will keep your floors looking good. But if you want the more consistent mopper based on the testing we have, I lean toward the Qrevo S.

Real-life benefit: Both robots lift their mops when they reach a rug (12 mm on the eufy, 10 mm on the Roborock), so you can vacuum and mop in one run without soaking your carpet.

    3. Obstacle Avoidance: The eufy Wins, and It’s Not Close

If there’s one feature that splits these two robots, it’s this one.

The eufy uses a front camera and an LED light to identify objects. RTINGS said its hazard avoidance is significantly better, and it’s much less likely to bump into loose slippers or cables.

One small warning on the eufy side, though. Vacuum Wars said its avoidance can be too careful. During debris tests, it sometimes tried to avoid large bits of cereal instead of sucking them up. They turned off obstacle avoidance for those tests.

    Real-life benefit:

    • eufy: You don’t have to do a full “floor sweep” before every run. That’s a big deal if you schedule cleaning while you’re at work.
    • Qrevo S: You’ll want to pick up cords, socks, and small toys first. Honestly, it’s a 2-minute habit, but you do have to build it.

If you have pets, this matters even more. Nobody wants to come home to a robot that spread a mess across the living room. (We’ve all heard those stories.)

    4. The Dock: Both Do the Heavy Lifting

Good news: this is almost a tie.

    Both docks:

    • Empty the robot’s dustbin into a disposable bag
    • Wash the mop pads
    • Dry the mop pads so they don’t get smelly
    • Refill the robot’s water tank

Vacuum Wars said docks like the eufy’s offer an almost completely hands-off floor care experience. For the Qrevo S, they pointed out a nice bonus: a detachable base that makes it easier to clean the dock itself.

    A few small differences:

    • The Qrevo S dock uses a slightly bigger 2.7 L bag vs. the eufy’s 2.5 L bag.

Neither dock washes the pads with hot water. Vacuum Wars mentioned that this is one of the upgrades you get on Roborock’s pricier models.

Real-life benefit: With either one, you’ll mostly just refill clean water, empty dirty water, and swap a dust bag every so often. That’s it.

    5. Navigation and App: Roborock Feels More Polished

Both robots use a spinning laser on top to map your home. And both mapped the Vacuum Wars test floor in about five minutes. That’s fast.

The difference shows up in the app.

Vacuum Wars said the Roborock app has most of the features of the higher-end models, is easy to use, and has above-average ratings on iOS and Android. Roborock also added a few smart extras on the Qrevo S. According to Roborock’s support page, it includes:

    • Smart Plan, which adjusts cleaning modes based on your home and past habits
    • Add Area, for re-cleaning a spot
    • Skip Area, for skipping a spot to save time

Real-life benefit: If you love tweaking settings and want everything to feel smooth, the Roborock app is the safer bet. If you just want to tap “Clean” and walk away, either one will do the job.

    6. Pet Hair and Tangles

Pet owners, this one’s for you.

The eufy has what eufy calls a Pro-Detangle Comb built into its brush.

The Qrevo S uses a floating rubber brush that’s designed to reduce hair tangles. I

Real-life benefit: If you have a heavy shedder, the eufy has the edge here, and its camera helps it steer clear of pet messes too. That’s a strong one-two punch for pet homes. (If pets are your main concern, check out my guide to the best robot vacuums for pet hair.)

    7. Size and Battery

Here’s a detail people often miss until the robot arrives: height.

    • The Qrevo S is about 3.8 inches tall
    • The X10 Pro Omni is about 4.47 inches tall

That extra 0.7 inches can decide whether the robot fits under your couch or bed. Grab a tape measure before you buy.

On battery, the eufy is officially rated at up to 210 minutes, and the Qrevo S at up to 180 minutes. RTINGS found their overall battery life to be similar in practice, and they noted the Roborock charges faster. Faster charging helps if your home is too big to clean on one charge, because the robot gets back to work sooner.

    Pros and Cons

    +What it does well

    • Dodges cables, shoes and pet messes far better than the Roborock
    • Top pet hair scores, with a detangle comb built into the brush
    • Pulls grit out of carpet better than most robots at this price
    • Mop pads press down
    • Live camera view, plus photos of what it avoided

    −Where it falls short

    • Taller body at 4.47 in, so low furniture is off limits
    • Sometimes avoids large debris instead of vacuuming it
    • Can struggle with taller door thresholds

    +What it does well

    • Better debris pickup on hard floors, per RTINGS
    • Scrubbed dried-on stains more reliably in testing
    • Slim 3.8 in body reaches under more furniture
    • Polished app with Smart Plan, Add Area and Skip Area
    • Charges faster, and the dock base detaches for cleaning

    −Where it falls short

    • No camera, so no live view or pet checks
    • No detergent and no hot water mop washing
    • No extending mop arm, so edges get less attention

    Reasons to Choose Each One

Why the eufy X10 Pro Omni might be your pick

Let me put it simply. The eufy is the robot for real, lived-in homes.

If your floor has a phone charger on it right now (be honest), the X10 Pro Omni is built for you. Its camera-based avoidance is the single biggest reason to buy it. You can schedule it while you’re out and feel pretty confident it won’t eat a sock.

It’s also a smart buy for pet owners. The strong pet scores, the detangle comb, and the ability to spot pet messes make it a lower-stress choice.

Why the Roborock Qrevo S might be your pick

The Qrevo S is the robot for people who want the cleanest floors and the smoothest experience, and who don’t mind a quick tidy-up first.

In my opinion, this is the better pure cleaner of the two, based on the lab results. It does better on hard floors; it scrubbed dried stains better in RTINGS’ tests, and its app is more refined.

Its slim body is a real plus, too. If you’ve got a low couch or a bed frame that’s always collecting dust bunnies, that extra clearance matters.

Compared to many other robots in this price range, both of these give you a full-service dock. That’s the main reason both became so popular. You’re not trading away the “hands-free” part to save money.

    Helpful Tips Before You Buy

Before you click “Add to Cart,” here are a few things I’d want a friend to know.

    1. Measure under your furniture. The Qrevo S needs about 3.8 inches of space. The eufy needs about 4.5 inches, plus a little wiggle room. A tape measure now saves a return later.

    2. Plan your dock spot. Both docks are tall and need open space in front and on the sides. The dock also needs to breathe while it dries the pads, so don’t tuck it into a tight closet.

    3. Check your thresholds. Vacuum Wars lists both robots at 20 mm threshold crossing. If you have tall door sills or transition strips, this could be a problem.

    4. Know your clutter level. If you won’t tidy up before runs, go with the eufy. If you will, the Qrevo S is a great choice. It really is that simple.

    5. Budget for supplies. You’ll need dust bags, mop pads, filters, and side brushes over time.

    6. Don’t use random cleaning liquid. The eufy lets you add detergent by hand, but always use a floor solution that eufy approves. The Qrevo S isn’t built for detergent at all. Using the wrong liquid can void your warranty or damage the water system.

    7. Using it on two floors? Both support multi-level maps. But the dock only lives on one floor, so on the other floor you’ll be emptying and refilling by hand. Here’s more on using a robot vacuum on multiple floors.

    8. Compare with the newer versions. Both robots came out in 2024. Roborock now sells a Qrevo S Pro with much higher-rated suction and hot-water mop washing. And eufy’s comparison table now lists newer models like the E25 Omni and E28 Omni. If the price gap is small, the newer model might be worth it. If the gap is big, these two are still great deals.

    9. Test your Wi-Fi first. Both robots rely on their apps for maps and settings. If your Wi-Fi is spotty in some rooms, read my guide on how to use a robot vacuum without Wi-Fi to see what still works.

    So, Should You Buy One?

Here’s what I keep coming back to.

A few years ago, a dock that empties the bin and washes and dries the mops was a luxury feature. Now you can get it without paying flagship prices. Both of these robots prove that.

If you’re tired of pushing a mop around every weekend, either one can give you that time back. You set a schedule, refill the water now and then, and come home to floors that look cared for.

If your home is busy and cluttered, and especially if you have pets, the eufy X10 Pro Omni is the one I’d check out first.

If your floors are mostly clear and you want the most polished cleaning, the Roborock Qrevo S is a fantastic choice.

No pressure, though. Take your time, measure your space, and pick the one that fits the way you actually live.

    Questions buyers keep asking

Which one handles pet hair better?

The eufy X10 Pro Omni. It scored well above average in the Vacuum Wars pet category, has a detangle comb in the brush, and its camera helps it steer around pet messes.

Can they vacuum and mop in the same run?

Yes. Both lift their mop pads when they detect carpet, so one run covers both jobs. The eufy lifts 12 mm, the Qrevo S lifts 10 mm.

Do they wash the mop pads with hot water?

Neither one does. Both wash and then dry the pads to keep odours down. Roborock’s newer Qrevo S Pro adds hot water washing if that matters to you.

Will they fit under my furniture?

The Qrevo S stands about 3.8 inches tall and the X10 Pro Omni about 4.47 inches. Measure the gap under your lowest couch or bed and leave a little headroom.

    Final Verdict

Both of these robots are excellent value, and neither is a bad choice. The Roborock Qrevo S is the better cleaner on paper, with stronger hard-floor pickup, more reliable stain scrubbing in lab tests, a slimmer body, and a smoother app. It’s the one I’d pick for tidy homes with mostly hard floors. The eufy X10 Pro Omni is the smarter choice for real-life chaos, thanks to its far better obstacle avoidance, strong pet hair results, and great carpet cleaning. If your floors often look like my 7 a.m. kitchen scene, go eufy. If you’ll clear the way first, go Roborock.
